Adelante, Inc. Presents: 3rd Annual D'ia de los Muertos 5K Walk & Run

Join Adelante, Inc. for our 3rd Annual D'ia de los Muertos 5K Walk & Runa vibrant, community-centered event that honors culture, remembrance, and wellness in Northwest Indiana.

Held at beautiful Wicker Memorial Park, this timed 5K brings together runners, walkers, families, and community members to celebrate D'ia de los Muertosa tradition that honors loved ones who have passed while embracing life, legacy, and connection.

Whether you are running in memory of someone special, supporting the community, or simply enjoying a meaningful and energetic event, all are welcomeincluding your furry friends!

This is more than a raceits a full cultural celebration!

Participants will enjoy:

Zumba warm-up session to get energized before the race
Live DJ bringing music and energy throughout the event
Aztec ceremonial dancers to open the race with a powerful cultural experience

About Adelante, Inc.
Adelante, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and uplifting the Latino community in Northwest Indiana through advocacy, programming, and community engagement.

Proceeds from this race support scholarships for local Northwest Indiana college students, helping expand access to higher education and opportunity.

Early Registration (through October 11):

Youth (12 & under): $10

Adults: $25

Late Registration (starting October 12):

Youth: $15
Adults: $35
T-shirts are guaranteed for timed 5K participants registered by October 12. T-shirts will be guaranteed for walkers and kids for participants registered by October 2nd.
Limited extra shirts will be available for purchase on race day for $20.

D'ia de los Muertos Costume Contest
Celebrate the spirit of the day!

Prizes will be awarded for the Top 3 D'ia de los Muertos costumes/makeupso come dressed to honor the tradition and bring the celebration to life.

Pets are welcome too! Bring your dogs (on leash) and feel free to dress them up to join in the fun.
