COME JOIN US FOR OUR 5K RUN/WALK OR 1 MILE (WALKERS ARE WELCOME). WE WILL GATHER IN COMMUNITY IN THE RICH CULTURAL TRADITION OF DIA DE LOS MUERTOS TO CONNECT THROUGH MOVEMENT AS WE HONOR OUR ANCESTORS AND THOSE WE HAVE LOVED AND LOST.
AS PART OF THE RACE, PARTICIPANTS WILL BE INVITED TO RUN OR WALK IN HONOR OF A LOVED ONE (OR LOVED ONES) WHO HAS DIED. ADDITIONALLY A DIA DE LOS MUERTOS ALTAR WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PARTICIPANTS WHO MAY CHOOSE TO PLACE A PHOTOGRAPH, CANDLE OR FLOWERS, OR JUST THE NAME OF THE PERSON/PEOPLE IN WHOSE HONOR THEY RAN/WALKED.
