Diamond Lake Triathlon

A fantastic sprint triathlon located on the fabulous Diamond Lake in Cassopolis, Michigan. The transition area is based out of the Diamond Lake Marina at , 21316 Shore Acres Rd, Cassopolis. [NOTE: Do not go to the Follett address, that is where the boats are stored and serviced. You want to go to the water !]
500 Yard Swim out from the Marina into beautiful Diamond lake. 
The  12 mile bike  route is an out and back course, starting around the lake, then out on country roads, and back. Flat and fast.
The 3.3 mile run goes the opposite direction around the lake on an out and back.
What we love about the the out and back courses is you get to see all of your friends on the course! 
Spectators are encouraged to bring a camp chair for the side of the road, where there will be non stop action! Of course, we always need volunteers so please encourage your family to actively spectate as a volunteer.
NOTES: On race day, you cannot park at the Marina or Yacht Club. There is plenty of parking within a block or two of the race. When you arrive, just follow the instructions from the volunteers. 
Diamond Lake Triathlon is a fundraiser for Challenged Athletes Foundation and the Central Cass Fire Department.
2023 is positioned to become the best Diamond Lake Triathlon to date. The same exciting venue at our host sponsor Diamond Lake Marina located next to the Diamond Lake Yacht. Podium prizes once again sponsored by Fleet Feet of Mishawaka for female, male and non-binary finishers, plus they will be donating a coupon for $15.00 coupon for all in store purchases to everyone athlete. Our Tri-club challenge will add an extra piece of excitement that will bring the fastest teams to Diamond lake, we expect a new course record to be set. However this race is an excellent opportunity to first time triathletes with a shallow swim with excellent on water support, relatively flat bike and closing out with a scenic run on the shoreline of beautiful Diamond Lake. As an event that promotes community, fitness and fun go ahead and. build your own relay team, if you want to race and need help building one please reach out and we will make sure you can race. 
AND while we are waiting for results to be tabulated, we will have a raffle with many fabulous prizes INCLUDING two foldable SUPs ! Amazing! $5 per ticket or 5 for $20. Athletes who check in on Friday get a free ticket!

Notes:  There are no refunds on registration fees. This is a fundraiser, so all funds will go to a good cause. If you cannot attend, we are unable to send you your packets. If you cannot attend the awards ceremony, we cannot send awards to you after the race.
