Old Friend Farms is a working homestead and host to Old Friends Reunion. It is a space for Outdoor Educators and Artists of all mediums to share and develop in ways that is mindful of the nature surrounding us. The Old Friends Reunion takes place as a four-day festival to celebrate our community of music, movement, and nature.

The DIRT MOVEMENT and OLD FRIEND FARMS relationship blossomed this spring when Dana & Noah played at our Twin Mountain Gravel event in Springdale, AR. When we realized we were working to put on a fall event on the same weekend, we got the bug to see how we could incorporate both events and the _Dirt Movement @ Old Friends Reunion _was born :) We are one community with one purpose - get outside and move.

FORMAT

The Old Friends Reunion is a four day gathering packed with movement, food, music, creek swims, and community! We have worked with our friends at Old Friends Farm to build the weekend in a way that you have multiple opportunities to participate in rides and runs while not missing any of the wonderful musicians and artist that will be there. Each day there will be an opportunity to move your body by way of gravel biking or trail running with your community. We may also meet for a moonlit hike or two :) There will be different route lengths and paces with a no-drop mentality. These are not races. They are about moving your body in a way that can connect with the earth and community around you.

SCHEDULE

8:00 AM

* Long 3-4 hour gravel ride.
* Long 1-2 hour run on trails and gravel roads

3:00 PM

* Short 1 hour bike ride at a mild conversational pace
* Short 30 minute run/walk/hike

The morning movements are designed to be longer but still have you back to the festival in time for lunch so you don't miss any of the activities. The afternoon movements are tucked in a window between the morning workshops and when the rest of the festival really kicks off!! The specific routes for each day will be posted closer to the event.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A 1-DAY REGISTRATION?

Your ticket to ride, and run, on some quiet Northwest Arkansas' backroads! These scenic roads are a beautiful place to lose yourself - or find yourself. Either way, we know you'll love the courses. Not to mention the full day of artist and vendors to check out and a packed evening of music, food, and dancing!

SWAG

There are a lot of events in Northwest Arkansas and we appreciate you choosing to participate in ours. We will have hats and beanies with varying colors/design to choose from at the Dirt Movement tent. You decide what you like and need most. And hey, buy a t-shirt if you like them as much as we do.

AID STATIONS AND ON-ROUTE SUPPORT

Each day, the bike routes will have an aid station brought to you by some of our partners like The Meteor, Rapha, and more. In addition to the stationary aid, you'll find vehicles on course to help you out if things don't go as planned. We got you.
