RACE WEEK INFO

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2025 WEATHER UPDATE

Tomorrow is race day, and it looks like we might have a little weather rolling in. Depending on which forecast you read, its either going to be a drought or a flood! In all seriousness, storms are possiblebut this is Wisconsin, so the weather could change in five minutes.

Our Emergency Action Plan is simple:

If lightning is detected within 30 miles of the course, athletes will be asked to shelter in place (your car is the safest spot).
Once the final lightning strike is detected, we will wait 30 minutes before starting or resuming the race.

Any delays or updates will be communicated through the RunSignUp email system and posted on our Facebook page [https://www.facebook.com/SCSEVENTS]. Please check both before heading to the start line.
