Get ready for an exciting day of community spirit and outdoor fun at the Donkey Creek Summer Solstice on Friday, June 20, 2025, in Gillette, Campbell! This vibrant event features a thrilling 5K race along the picturesque Donkey Creek Pathway, kicking off at the Dalbey Park Lions Point Shelter. Runners will enjoy a scenic route that takes them under Hwy 59, past the Gillette College Tech Center, and back to the park, with a unique loop around the Fishing Lake. For our younger participants, there’s a delightful 1K kids fun run that also starts and finishes at the Lions Point Shelter.

Don’t miss out on the post-race hot dog feed, perfect for recharging after your run! Pre-registration for the 5K is just $25 until June 16, and $30 on race day, while the kids run is $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the event. Everyone who registers will receive a shirt, and all proceeds will support a scholarship fund for local high school seniors.
