E. D. White Catholic High School in Thibodaux, LA invites you to be part of something meaningful at our first-ever Red Bird Run, a community event BENEFITING THE TEAM GLEASON FOUNDATION, which provides critical support and resources to individuals living with ALS.

This year, we run with purpose in memory of GUY GUIDRY, and in honor of EDDIE COLE and TRICIA GROS, beloved members of the E. D. White faculty and staff who have been diagnosed with ALS in recent years. While we remember Guy with love, Eddie and Tricia continue to bravely fight this disease. Their strength, spirit, and dedication to our school family inspire us to take action.

RACE DAY TIMELINE

7:00AM - CHECK-IN/WALK-UP REGISTRATION- Head over to the registration table located in front of the LeJeune Gym to check in and pick up your race shirt (if you met the August 20th deadline). Walk-up participants can still sign up at this time. Cash, card, and check accepted.

7:40AM - OPTIONAL GROUP WARMUP/STRETCH- Join us in the stadium for a fun, energizing warm-up led by EDW's Media Specialist and certified fitness instructor Lauren Bordelon, a 2002 EDW grad. Great for getting those muscles loose before the races begin. All ages welcome!

8:00AM - 1 MILE FUN RUN BEGINS- Perfect for kids, families, or anyone wanting a quick jog or walk.

8:40AM - 5K RACE BEGINS- Lace up for the main event! Runners and walkers of all paces are welcome. Water stations will be located along the route.
