Get ready for a thrilling outdoor experience at the 12th Annual EHT Nature Reserve Turkey Trot, taking place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, in beautiful Egg Harbor Township, Atlantic. This exciting event features a challenging 5K run and a fun 1-mile walk, perfect for participants of all ages and fitness levels. The 5K race kicks off at 9 AM, with pre-registration beginning at 8 AM on race day. Pre-registration fees are $30 for the 5K and only $10 for the 1-mile walk, offering a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the scenic environment while supporting a good cause.
Participants will traverse sandy beaches and wooded trails, making this course one of the most picturesque in South Jersey. The first 100 registrants for the 5K will receive a special t-shirt, and awards will be given to the top male and female overall, as well as top finishers in various age categories. To access the event, please note that there will be no on-site parking at the Nature Reserve, but convenient off-site parking with shuttle service will be available. Join us for a day filled with fun, fitness, and community spirit, all while benefiting the Egg Harbor Nature Reserve!

YOU WILL ENCOUNTER SANDY BEACHES AS YOU RUN ALONG THE PERIMETER OF A BEAUTIFUL LAKE, AS WELL AS WOODED TRAILS WITH NUMEROUS DOWNHILLS AND CLIMBS. YOU WILL NOT EXPERIENCE A BETTER ENVIRONMENT FOR A 5K IN ALL OF SOUTH JERSEY. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE!
THE EHT NATURE RESERVE IS LOCATED AT 318 ZION ROAD, 1.7 MILES WEST OF OCEAN HEIGHTS AVENUE. DROP-OFF ONLY PERMITTED AT THE RESERVE FOR THE EVENT. OFF-SITE PARKING AND A SHUTTLE BUS WILL BE PROVIDED FROM ATLANTIC CHRISTIAN SCHOOL, 391 ZION RD., EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, 1.5 MILES WEST OF OCEAN HEIGHTS AVENUE.
* There will be no on-site parking at the Nature Reserve.
* Parking will be available at the Atlantic Christian School, 391 Zion Rd, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234.
* A shuttle bus will run continuously from Atlantic Christian School beginning at 7:40 AM, returning participants to the school parking lot after the race.
