Ethan A. Rhodig Memorial Triathlon at Burke High School 2024

Join us for the Ethan A. Rhodig Memorial Triathlon at Burke High School!
The Race Date is Saturday May 4th, 2024:
Race Start at 7:30am (Please see Athlete Guide about 1 week prior to the race date for all final race information including any changes to the start time).
Swim Waves/Heats up to 50 participants approximately 15 minutes apart.
The Duathlon race starts closer to 8:00am outside the transition area.
For 2024, we are moving the triathlon to Burke High School!  With the change of location, This event offers many race options for participants for ages 15 and above. Race options are Sprint and Super Sprint Triathlon, Duathlon, Aqua-Run/SwimRun, Aqua-Bike/SwimBike,
Swim leg is in the indoor pool at Burke High School. The bike course/leg is on a closed course utilizing the streets around Burke High School.  The run course is primarily on the outdoor track in the Burke Stadium.
Super Sprint Bike Course: 5 Laps or approximately 10K.  (Each lap is approximately 1.25 miles)
Sprint Bike Course:  10 Laps or approximately 20K (Each lap is approximately 1.25 miles)
Super Sprint Run Course:  2.5k Run (6 Laps)
Sprint Run Course:  5k Run  (12 Laps)
The course layout provides for a very spectator friendly venue.  Spectators will be able to cheer on their friends and family members throughout the race.  A pool swim promotes a balance of newer and more seasoned triathletes.  A Pool swim also allows for an early season triathlon when swimming in a lake can be rather chilly and promotes participation for those that swimming in open water may be more challenging.
This race is open to ages 15 and above for men and women.  Note: USA Triathlon determines age by what age you will be in the current year by December 31st.  If you are 14 years on race day, but will turn 15 by December 31st of the current year, USA Triathlon considers your age as 15.
All participants receive a finisher medal!
Age Group awards for Top 3 in each age group for the Sprint Triathlon
Overall Top 3 Awards for Men and Women in both Sprint and Super Sprint Distance Triathlon
Overall awards for Duathlon, Aquabike, Aquarun.
An Athlete Guide is posted at www.raceomaha.com on the event page approximately 1 week before the event and emailed to all registered participants to date. Please check the website or watch your email from Race Omaha.  Please check your spam as well.
USA Triathlon Membership and single date event fees:  This event is USA Triathlon Sanctioned.  If you have an annual membership that is active on the event date, there is no single day event collected during registration.  If you do not have an annual membership with USA Triathlon, you have the option to purchase a single day event fee during registration for $15.  This fee goes to USA Triathlon and not part of the registration cost.
