Join us for the 9th Annual Eva K Bowlby Library 5K Turkey Trot on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in the charming town of Waynesburg, Greene! This exciting event features a 5K run/walk and a 1K Children's Fun Run, making it a perfect day out for the whole family. The race will kick off at the Bowlby Library Gazebo, with the 5K starting at 9:30 AM and the children's run at 9:15 AM.
Participants can enjoy a fun-filled day while supporting the library’s mission to enrich lives through learning and recreation. There will be awards for the top three male and female runners and walkers in each age category, along with medals for the top finishers in the children's run. Free childcare and activities for kids will be available, allowing parents to focus on the race. Plus, indulge in hot beverages and light snacks as you celebrate community spirit and health. Don't forget to register by November 3 to guarantee your T-shirt size! Whether you're running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, come be a part of this festive occasion!

THE 9TH ANNUAL EVA K. BOWLBY LIBRARY TURKEY TROT 5K RUN/WALK AND 1K CHILDREN'S FUN RUN.
Event proceeds will provide needed support to meet the library's mission:
_The Eva K. Bowlby Public Library connects the community with opportunities to enrich lives through empowerment, lifelong learning, and recreation while opening windows to the world and inspiring exploration and achievement. _
WHEN & WHERE?
The event will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 beginning & finishing at the Bowlby Library Gazebo.

FREE CHILDCARE AVAILABLE!! with children's activities, while parents run or walk in the 5K.
AWARDS will be given to the top 3 Male & Female 5K Runners & 5K Walkers in each age category. The award ceremony will be held immediately following the race at the Gazebo. Medals are also given to the top 3 in each Age Category in the 1K Childrens Run.
