Get ready for an exciting day of running and community spirit at the 3rd Annual DECA Dash & Bloom Bash on Saturday, May 24, 2025! Set against the picturesque backdrop of Flinchbaugh's Orchard in Hellam Township, York, this unique 5K race invites participants to traverse the beautiful apple orchard. It's a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors while supporting the Eastern York High School DECA organization.
The race promises to be a thrilling experience, complete with electronic timing managed by the Eastern York High School Cross Country team. Runners will have the chance to win enticing prizes, including a $50 cash prize for the top male and female finishers, as well as gift cards for the top finishers in each age group. Plus, all registered participants by May 5th will receive a custom race t-shirt designed by the talented EYHS DECA students. Join us for a day filled with fun, fitness, and community support, all while making memories among the apple trees!

How often do you get to run through an apple orchard? If your answer is never, then let's change that! Join Eastern York High School DECA as they return to host the 3rd Annual DECA Dash 5k race through the property of Flinchbaugh's Orchard & Farm Market [https://www.flinchbaughsorchard.com/] in Hellam, PA. There will be many volunteers throughout the orchard to direct you, this is all run by the EYHS DECA community. All money raised will go back to their student organization to help cover travel, conference, and competition fees associated with DECA.
The race will be timed by the Eastern York High School Cross Country team using the electronic timing system they use to time home cross country meets.
* The top male and top female finishers will receive a $50 CASH PRIZE.
* The top male and top female in each age group will receive a gift card to Flinchbaugh's Orchard & Farm Market
* All runners registered by May 5th will receive a race t-shirt (designed and printed by EYHS DECA students)

This exciting race will take place on the property of Flinchbaugh's Orchard and Farm Market. The updated 5K course was designed by current EYHS student and cross country runner Leah Flinchbaugh. Thank you to Leah and Flinchbaugh's Orchard and Farm Market for sharing this awesome course with us!
