Get ready for an exciting weekend of fitness and fun at the Family Enrichment Center's Run & Walk for Children, taking place from March 28th to March 29th, 2025, in Bowling Green, Warren. Kick off the event on Friday evening with a vibrant Family Wellness Expo from 5 PM to 8 PM, featuring local wellness vendors and family-centered organizations. Don’t miss the Kids One-Mile Glow Run, starting at 7 PM, where children in grades 6 and under can shine bright while celebrating an active lifestyle.
The festivities continue on Saturday morning with a variety of race options, including a challenging Half Marathon at 8 AM, followed by a 5K Run and a 5K Fun Walk, both starting at 8:15 AM. All participants will enjoy a complimentary ticket to the pre-race Pizza/Pasta Party, along with a finisher's medal and a race shirt. Join us for this family-friendly event that promotes health, wellness, and community spirit!

KIDS ONE-MILE GLOW RUN (STARTS AT 7 PM)
The FAMILY WELLNESS EXPO is free to attend and open to all community members. The Expo will feature wellness vendors as well as family/child-centered organizations from the community. If you or your organization is interested in being a vendor email [email protected].
This year, in order to encourage kids to stay active we will be hosting a FREE KIDS GLOW RUN AND MINI MARATHON CHALLENGE. Kids grades 6th and under are encouraged to download our Mileage Tracker and complete 12 miles of walking/running/dancing/skipping before the GLOW RUN on Friday, March 28th. Kids will turn in their Mileage Tracker at check-in and upon completing the GLOW RUN will have finished 13 miles, or a "mini" marathon! Kids who turn in a completed Mileage Tracker will also receive a special medal for the Mini Marathon Challenge in addition to the GLOW RUN medal.
