The race will kick off near Merchants Plaza, behind Paddy Murphy's, on a familiar course that participants have enjoyed in previous years. Awards will be presented to both overall and age-group winners, and the race will be officially timed by Brewer Timing Services. Plus, this year's event proudly introduces a non-binary category, celebrating inclusivity in the running community. THE FINALE 5K WILL TAKE PLACE SUNDAY, DECEMBER 29, 2024 AT 9 AM IN BANGOR.
Online registration ($20) will close December 26 at 11:59PM.
The first 50 registrants receive a free Finale 5K blue neon knit hat. Only the first 50 registrants will receive a hat.
Race day bib pick-up and registration ($25) will now take place at the PENOBSCOT THEATRE AT 131 MAIN STREET, BANGOR starting at 7:30 AM Dec. 29. Race-day registration closes at 8:25. Cash or check only for race-day registration.

We have every intention of hosting this race as scheduled. However, please be aware that weather and road safety could impact the event and REFUNDS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. The race course is not closed and participants should be cautious of traffic.
Sub5 Track Club is proud to introduce a non-binary category for this race, along with the option to not select a gender.

* Runners choosing not to select a gender category will not be eligible for prizes.
* The identity you list on your race sign-up form will be published in the results and/or announced during awards presentations.
