No Better Way to start 2027 than with a 5k! GO Race is excited to bring you The First Day 5k 2027. The race is being held in Cane Bay Plantation and is for all ages, skills, and speeds. Race starts at 9:27AM.
Please join us in beautiful Cane Bay for a fun, fast, 5k! Held on the community paved trail system, this flat course is perfect for beginners, experts, and even walkers, and strollers. Sorry, no pets are allowed.
THE COURSE: You'll begin in the Cane Bay Elementary School parking lot and head out onto Nexton Pkwy (with Sheriff's Deputies stationed for your safety), before hopping onto the paved multi-use trails to loop thru 2 tunnels. You'll finish where it all started, back at the elementary school.
Participants will have their choice of a FREE coffee or hot cocoa and a treat as they finish. Prizes will be given to males and females 1st through 3rd overall and in the following age groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
