Join us for the vibrant First Horizon Family Run for Prevention at the picturesque Jaycee Park in Cape Coral on Saturday, January 30, 2027! This exciting event features a chipped and timed 5K Family Run and Walk, perfect for participants of all ages and abilities. The run kicks off at 8:00 a.m., and participants can look forward to a stroller and pet-friendly course, making it a fun outing for everyone.
Pre-race packet pickup will take place on January 29, 2027, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Fleet Feet in Fort Myers, and race day packet pickup is available from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. at Jaycee Park. The first 300 registrants will receive T-shirts, and teams can enjoy a $5.00 discount! Be sure to compete for the coveted JOSH TROPHY awarded to the largest team, along with exciting age group awards for both male and female participants. Best of all, your participation supports Drug House Odyssey and drug and alcohol abuse prevention initiatives in Lee County.

The Run for Prevention is a chipped and timed 5K Family Run and Walk that is suitable for all ages and abilities. Run will be held at beautiful Jaycee Park in Cape Coral. Bring your family and friends, form a team, and support an extraordinary non-profit. Our course is stroller and pet friendly.
The largest team will win the JOSH TROPHY and bragging rights for the year!
The Run begins at 8:00 a.m.
