Organiser's Description
The purpose of this event is to promote and raise awareness of how keeping our mind and body active, leads to a healthy life with positive outcomes.We welcome and encourage our friends, family and community to come out and enjoy a nice run or walk to JUMP START the Fall Season off to a Healthy Start!
Our Healthy Start Mind & Body 5K Run/Walk, 1.5 Mile Walk, and 1 Mile Youth Race, will be held at the beautiful, Occoquan Regional Park in Lorton, Virginia. This paved course winds its way along the delightful Occoquan River, extending you splendid, scenic views throughout the park’s natural terrain.
We will have a DJ on site and there will be an award ceremony and a catered meal after the completion of the race at the Occoquan Regional Park Pavilion.
