Join us for the exhilarating First Responders 5K on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Starkville, Oktibbeha! This annual 3-mile run celebrates the brave men and women who risk their lives every day to protect our communities. Since its inception in Fall 2022, this event has honored the sacrifices of first responders, including firefighters, law enforcement officers, and EMS providers, who face tremendous risks in their line of duty.
Participants can look forward to a fun-filled day with exciting giveaways such as t-shirts and water bottles, along with a captivating static display. Additionally, we are proud to support Tunnels2Towers, an organization dedicated to assisting the families of fallen heroes by paying off their home mortgages. Organiser's Description
On October 4th we will be hosting our fourth annual First Responders 5K!! This annual 3-mile run was started in Fall of 2022 to honor the first responders that risk their lives every day to help others. Every year, thousands of U.S. first responders-including firefighters, law enforcement officers, and EMS providers, lose their lives while protecting others. Firefighters face the highest risk from medical emergencies, such as heart attacks. We do this run to bring attention to their sacrifice.
There will be t-shirts, water bottles, a static display provided!
We also will be collecting money to donate to Tunnels2Towers, an organization that pays off the home mortgages of families of fallen first responders.
