By taking part, you become a true superhero, helping to support children, orphans, and families in need across Bangladesh, The Gambia, and Southern Illinois.
Not only will you be running for a great cause, but there are also opportunities to win exciting prizes for the Most Money Raised, Fastest Times, and Best Superhero Costumes! Be sure to register by September 4th to guarantee your t-shirt—only $25 for adults and $15 for kids (17 & under). Race packet pick-up will be available the day before the event, and on the race day, registration opens at 8 AM. The 13th For Kids' Sake International Superhero 5K is back! This year's Superhero 5K will be a hybrid race - you can join us at the starting line on Saturday, September 20, at 9am at Turley Park (1010 N. Glenview Dr, Carbondale, IL) or run/walk anywhere in the universe!
Superheroes save lives, which is exactly what you do when you participate in this race. All proceeds support, educate, and empower children, orphans, students, and families with the basic necessities of food, clothing, shelter, healthcare and education in Bangladesh, The Gambia, and Southern Illinois.
