Get ready for an exhilarating day of athleticism at the Fort De Soto Series taking place on Sunday, February 16, 2025, in the picturesque St. Petersburg, Pinellas! This exciting event will be hosted at the stunning Fort DeSoto Park North Beach, where athletes can choose from a variety of race distances that suit their skills. Participants can challenge themselves with the Sprint Triathlon (0.25-mile swim, 10-mile bike, 3.1-mile run), Sprint Duathlon (0.62-mile run, 10-mile bike, 3.1-mile run), Sprint Aquabike (0.25-mile swim, 10-mile bike), International Triathlon (0.5-mile swim, 20-mile bike, 6.2-mile run), or the International Aquabike (0.5-mile swim, 20-mile bike).
This race series is a beloved staple in Florida's multisport calendar, offering a chance to compete in four races with the same distances throughout the season. Athletes will enjoy a saltwater swim with a scenic backdrop, a completely traffic-free bike course, and a flat, picturesque 5K run route through the park. This course and race series is one of Floridas favorites. In one race season you have 4 races with exact same distances and stunning location to test your training. Proudly brought to you by Integrity Multisport. When you race, be sure that you Race with Integrity.
Athletes will enjoy a salt water swim in full view of spectators. The bike course is 100% traffic free. The International distance athletes will complete 2 laps, while the sprint distance will do 1 lap.
The run consists of a scenic out-and-back 5K route through the park. The sprint athletes will complete 1 lap, while the International distance runners will complete two laps. Spectators will have plenty of opportunity to cheer on athletes as they run down the final finishing chute.
Friends, family & music welcome the athletes through the finish line. With the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, the car free bike course, and a flat run, athletes will have a chance to test their limits and make new PRs on this beautiful course.
