Join us on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in Augusta, Richmond, for an inspiring 5K Fun Run and a 1-mile Stroller Walk aimed at raising awareness for cancer. Participants will kick off the event at 9:00 AM at the scenic Barton Field, which has moved due to construction, so be sure to take the right route from Gate 1. Enjoy a spirited atmosphere where everyone can unite for a great cause, while sporting their most colorful and creative tutus!
Although there are no timed awards, every participant will receive a finisher medal upon completing the race. Don’t forget to arrive early for packet pick-up between 7:30 and 8:45 AM at the race site. For those needing base access, please register for a visitor pass at least 24 hours in advance. The starting time is 0900.
Race Site Barton Field (location changed due to construction)
Directions From Gate 1 participants will need to make their way to Barton Field by going down Chamberlain Avenue and taking a left at the second light at Kilborne Street. Turn right onto Brainard Avenue, go through the next light and Parking will be available along Barton Field
Awards There are no awards, as this is an un-timed fun run
Packet Pick Up - 7:30-8:45am at THE RACE SITE on Race Day
Finisher medals will be presented at the completion of the event.
All non-DoD pass holders must register at least 24 hours in advance at: https://home.army.mil/gordon/des/visitor-information/visitor-preregistration for a visitor pass. Choose Army>Ft Gordon>Visitor Pass and be sure to select for base access to start on packet pick up day!
