The Fostering Hope 5K will benefit the Orphan Care Alliance (OCA), a dedicated ministry that works tirelessly to support vulnerable children and families in the foster and adoptive community across Kentucky and southern Indiana.

Choose between the 5K run/walk or let your little ones join in on the excitement with the Kid's 1/4 Mile Dash and the unique Kid's 1/4 Mile Ride on Toy Race. Plus, there’s a virtual option for those who want to participate from afar! Gather your friends, family, or co-workers to form a race team for a chance to win a prize for the largest team. JOIN US FOR THE ANNUAL FOSTERING HOPE 5K & KID'S DASH ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2025 AT 8:30AM AT WHITE HALL PARK IN RICHMOND/MADISON COUNTY!
Our race will benefit ORPHAN CARE ALLIANCE (OCA). OCA is a ministry that operates throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana, mobilizing Christians to serve vulnerable children and families within the foster and adoptive community. OCA directly impacts youth in foster care through their Life Coaching program. OCA Life Coaches are trained and then matched to mentor a youth in foster care: to be their friend and walk alongside them in life when they might not have anyone else. OCA supports children in foster care by meeting their physical, emotional, and therapeutic needs through the OCA Family Support, Life Coaching, and Family Preservation ministries
RACE FEATURES:

OPENS 31 MAYA manually timed 5K (3.1 miles) with awards presented for our top finishers. Registrants receive a commemorative T-shirt. Register by August 25th to receive your T-shirt. Course is on paved trail/roadway surfaces. Dogs on fixed length leashes and strollers are welcomed. -
Kid's 1/4 Mile Dash

OPENS 31 MAYIt is a fun, untimed race for kids who want to bring their 6- or 12-volt ride-on toy (Peg Perego Tractor, PowerWheels Barbie Jeep, etc) on the 1/4 Mile Fun Run course. Kids aged 3-7 years. There are no prizes or awards for this event. -
Virtual Runner/Walker
