Join us for the exhilarating Freedom Fun Run on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in the picturesque setting of Alexandria, Douglas! This exciting community event features a range of races for all ages, including a 10K at 7:30 AM, a 5K at 8:00 AM, and a fun 1-mile run for kids at 9:00 AM. All events start and finish at Brophy Park, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of Lake Darling, Cowdry, and Brophy Lake, as well as the rolling hills of the scenic Brophy Bike Trails.
Not only will you enjoy a fantastic run, but you'll also be supporting a great cause. Proceeds from the race will benefit Alexandria Community Christian School, helping to equip the next generation with valuable K-12 Christian education. SATURDAY, JULY 4, 2026 - Come celebrate FREEDOM with us at the 4th Annual Freedom Fun Run.
All races begin at Brophy Park, and end in the same location.
Enjoy the coolness and beauty of Lake Darling, Cowdry & Brophy Lake and the rolling hills of the Brophy Bike Trails on your way to the finish line!
REGISTRATION AND CHECK in will be held at the Brophy Pavilion. Indoor bathrooms available.
Locker rooms and showers NOT available, but the local YMCA is just down the road.
Packet Pick up at Brophy Pavilion:
* Friday, July 3rd: 5 PM - 7 PM or
* Saturday, July 4th: 6:00 AM - 7:30 AM
