Freedom Run: The Race Against Poverty

Join us for the 9th Annual Freedom Run: The Race Against Poverty on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Wesley Chapel District Park in Pasco, Florida. This exciting event features both a 5K and a 10K race, welcoming participants of all ages and skill levels. Starting at 7:30 am, runners will enjoy a timed race with the added thrill of competing for awards. Every participant will receive a finisher medal, while the top male and female runners will earn prestigious first-place trophies. Age group awards will also be presented to celebrate the achievements of our diverse participants.

The Freedom Run is not just about running; it’s about making a difference. All proceeds from this inspiring event go towards building homes for families living in extreme poverty in countries like the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, The Philippines, and El Salvador, with plans to expand our efforts within the United States. Check-in begins at 6:30 am, so gather your friends and family for a day filled with camaraderie, competition, and compassion.
