This vibrant event features a variety of race distances, including a family-friendly 5K on Friday night, May 9, starting at 6:30 p.m., and an action-packed lineup on Saturday, May 10, with races including a 5K at 8:10 a.m., a 10K at 8 a.m., and a challenging half-marathon at 7 a.m.
Participants can also take advantage of the “Dirty Double” option, combining the Friday night run with a Saturday race for a special price and the chance to earn a handcrafted race mug. With registration opening at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, this event welcomes all ages and even well-behaved dogs on leashes! Friends of Yellow River State Forest will be holding their Sixth Annual 5K and 10K Trail Run/Walk and Half-marathon on Saturday, May 10, in the State Forest. Again this year there will be an additional family-friendly, fast and flat 5K on Friday night, May 9.

**Prices will increase $5 on April 1. These prices are for registrations that take place before April 1.

Saturday, May 10, registration 7:00 a.m., 5K at 8:10 a.m. Cost $35

All ages are welcome, children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Children over the age of 12 must be registered. The Friday night 5K will be family-friendly, but there may be some steps so strollers are not recommended. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are allowed.
Races will be timed again this year!
Due to the use of existing trails the distances are not exact.

The mission of the group is to enhance Yellow River State Forest for public use while protecting the integrity of the flora, fauna, soil and water.
