The race kicks off at 1:00 PM, preceded by the Jingle Bell Mile Fun Run starting at 12:30 PM. Participants in the 5K will receive a long-sleeved shirt if they register by December 16, and there are fantastic door prizes up for grabs! The event will take place behind the Food Lion Grocery store on North Main Street, with ample parking available at the nearby shopping center. Run with friends and family at the Frosty 5K and Jingle Bell Mile!
The 23rd annual Frosty 5K is the 10th and final race in the 2025 RunAbout Race Series presented by Roots Realty Group. In addition, this race always has great door prizes!
Every 5K participant is guaranteed a long-sleeve shirt with registration on or before December 16th! Those who register after December 16th can choose from remaining sizes while quantities last. Jingle Bell Mile participants have the option to purchase a shirt during registration while supplies last.
LOCATION:
The start and finish are located BEHIND the Food Lion Grocery store on North Main Street in Blacksburg. The best place to park is at the shopping center and then walk behind the shopping center up the hill to the soccer field. The field is beside the Hunter Ridge Apartments.

COURSE:
The Frosty 5K is a rolling course on the bike paths and roads of the Shenandoah neighborhood. The race finishes with a short grass loop on even terrain. The race has a fast 1st mile and a challenging last mile to help burn those holiday calories! There's an aid station just past 2 miles. The Jingle Bell Mile is an out-and-back course on the same grass loop and bike paths as the Frosty 5K course.

PRICING:
The price for the Frosty 5K is $29 if you register on or before November 24 and includes a long-sleeved shirt. The price increases to $31 after November 24 and $33 after December 16. Race day registration is $36.00. The Jingle Bell 1 Mile Fun Run is free!
