Race Difficulty

Beginner through Advanced Racers.



This is a scalable course with no mandatory points so all racers can scale their adventure to their abilities. Each leg returns to the start/finish for transition so beginner racers can customize their race length, difficulty, and experience to their skills and needs. Advanced Racers will be challenged with a very fast and fun course with lots of miles & decision points! This course is hilly without any significant elevation gain nor elongated climbs.

Course Description

This course features world-class IMBA-Bronze Certified mountain biking trails which are fast, flowy, & fun. There is also excellent wooded trekking sections. Racers will have many route choices to allow numerous decisions and strategy on this fun course! This race will not have paddling due to the temperatures often found in March in Virginia. All transitions are located near the start/finish area. Racers can transition at their vehicles. There are no mandatory checkpoints so each team can "create their own adventure". This is a terrific course for those interested in stepping-up to the 12 Hour Race. Advanced racers will be challenged with high mileage on a fast and flowy course.

Mandatory Equipment

This equipment is for your own safety:

Enough food and water for the event-
Bike (gravel, MTB, hybrid, recumbent, unicycle, but no E bikes!)
Bike Helmet, Bike Lights, Bike repair (tube, plugs, pump, mini tool, chain link, etc.)
Bike Rear Red Blinkie Light Required for ALL Racers.
Front White Light only Required for12 Hour Racers.
Clothing appropriate for weather conditions
Cell phone fully charged
Dry bag for your cell phone
No outside maps are allowed!
Race Maps, Rules of Travel, & Electronic Punch (*All provided by REV3 Endurance @ packet pick-up).

General Refund Policy

REV3Endurance offers credit for future races if you must cancel your race entry. All credit processing is subject to a $10 processing fee.

More than 90 days before the event.

100% of your registration fee will be given as future credits. Race credit will be good for 12 months.

Between 90 to 45 days before the event.

75% of your registration fee will be given as future credits, minus processing fee when initiated 30 days before race day. Race credit will be good for 12 months.

Between 45-10 days prior to the event:

50% of your registration fee will be given as future race credits, minus processing fee. Race credit will be good for 12 months.

Less than 10 days before the event.

No credits within 10 days from an event.
We cannot refund registration fees.
