Kick off the morning at 8:45 AM with registration, followed by a warm welcome and the national anthem at 9:50 AM. The official 5K run will start at 10:00 AM, with a 1-mile walk or roll beginning shortly after at 10:05 AM.
This event is perfect for all ages and abilities! Whether you’re a seasoned runner or prefer a leisurely stroll, come dressed in your best costume for a chance to win the costume contest. Families are encouraged to participate, and kids in the 1-mile walk or roll will receive candy as a delightful treat. With awards for the top male and female finishers in the 5K and medals for age group winners, there’s plenty of motivation to lace up those running shoes! Proceeds from this fun run will support local Young Life clubs, helping provide transformative experiences for youth in the community. The 5K is an official USATF Certified Course and will be officially timed by TNT Event Management!
Top overall Male and Female finishers will receive a prize and medal! Medals will be given to the top male and female finishers in each age bracket!
Get into the Fall spirit and run the annual GC Young Life Fall Costume Fun Run! No worries if you don't run, bring the whole family to walk or roll! We will have candy to give out to all kids who participate in our 1 mile walk or roll. Come decked out in your best costume and you could be the winner of the costume contest. Proceeds from this fundraiser go towards program costs for our local Young Life clubs, start up expenses for new clubs, and helping kids have life-changing experiences at one of our Young Life camps. Middle school students, high school students, students with pecial needs and teen moms are able to get away from the pressures of everyday life, have adventure and fun with friends and Young Life leaders, and hear the message of God's love in terms they can understand.
Money should never be the reason kids miss out on the best time of their lives. Young Life is committed to raising money for this cause and helping give kids ownership of their trips.
