Participants can look forward to the innovative Mixed Team Relay Triathlon, where teams of four (two men and two women) will tackle a dynamic course that includes a 0.25-mile swim, a 3.9-mile bike ride, and a 1.25-mile run. Each athlete will race in turn, showcasing their skills and teamwork as they strive for the best combined time. In addition, young aspiring triathletes can join in on the fun with two Kids Triathlon options: a short-distance race for ages 6-9 featuring a 100-yard swim, 1-mile bike ride, and 0.5-mile run, and a longer distance for ages 10-13 with a 200-yard swim, 2.6-mile bike ride, and 1-mile run. SHORT DISTANCE MULTISPORT RACING IS BACK ON THE SENECA LAKE WATERFRONT IN GENEVA, NY WITH 2 EVENTS; KIDS TRIATHLON AND A FIRST IN THE NORTHEAST, THE GENEVA MIXED TEAM RELAY TRIATHLON. INTRODUCED AT THE 2020 TOKYO OLYMPIC GAMES, THE MTR FORMAT IS ULTRA FACE-PACED, SPECTATOR-FRIENDLY, AND LOADS OF FUN FOR TRIATHLETES OF EVERY ABILITY.
