Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the exciting "Get Down to the Loose Caboose" event on Saturday, May 15, 2027, in the vibrant town of Paragould, Greene County! This spectacular day of fitness and fun features a range of races, including a challenging Half Marathon, a thrilling 10K, and an invigorating 5K, all set against the beautiful backdrop of the 8 Mile Creek Trail. The Half Marathon kicks off downtown, behind the Greene County Courthouse, while both the 10K and 5K races start at Rotary Park at 8 AM, concluding at the same historic location.
For the younger participants, the Fastest Kid in Town Race, sponsored by PMU, will take place at 9:30 AM within the festival grounds, offering age divisions for kids up to 14 years old. Don’t forget, registrations completed by May 1st will receive a FREE Loose Caboose Festival T-Shirt! Plus, a shuttle will be available to return all racers from the finish line back to Rotary Park. Join us for a day filled with community spirit and athletic achievement, all while supporting the Paragould Chamber Foundation and the Greene County Future Fund!

Returning in 2027 is the FASTEST KID IN TOWN RACE Sponsored by PMU with the Fastest Internet in Town.
All registrations before May 1st will receive a FREE Loose Caboose Festival T-Shirt!
