JOIN US AT THE DRAGON DASH!
A great, scenic & friendly course the whole family can enjoy. Invite your friends and neighbors, and join the GFA community for a 5K run (or walk) on Saturday, April 20.
Our event has partnered with an education-based charity for many years. We will continue this wonderful tradition! ALL donations will go directly to our beneficiary. We appreciate your support and generosity.
Our 5K (3.1mi) course is a gentle loop through the scenic Greens Farms neighborhood in Westport. Much of the second half is on a quiet street overlooking the Long Island Sound. The start and finish is on the GFA campus. Everyone running or walking this distance will be computer-timed and will be eligible for prizes & awards.
We also host a short, free kids fun run before the 5K starts.
We encourage all abilities to join us for all events of this great fundraising effort!
Funds raised will benefit Horizons GFA [https://www.horizonsgfa.org/] and Komera [https://komera.org/].
REGISTRATION FEES: 5K $30 for 19 & over, $22 for 18 & under
$35/$25 on April 19 & 20.

5K T-shirt sizing guaranteed through 4/7. After that, sizing as available & could be sold out.
SHIRT STORE- youth and adult sized shirts will be available for just $10- must order by 4/7.
This is a great option for the 'free' kids run participants who do not receive a shirt. And also for adults who'd like extra for friends & family.

OPENS SOONThe 5k begins & ends inside the Greens Farms Academy campus. There will be entertainment, food and prizes. Race proceeds will benefit an education-based charitable non-profit that partners with Greens Farms Academy. We hope you will join us at our event! Free kids' scamper for ages 8 & under at 8:45am Registration Fees are stated on page one. Registration online stays open until 8:50am on 4/20. If we are sold out prior to the race date it will be announced on the main page of the website. Race day: Registration $35/$25 Pre-reg pickup opens at 8:00am at GFA We encourage the participation of community/neighborhood groups of all ages and abilities. Donation goal $3,000: If you would like to make a donation to Greens Farms Academy, you may do so online through our platform, or on race day in the form of cash or cheque. This would be in addition to your registration fee. Race Director Marty Schaivone, with 30+ years of experience will coordinate this event. MS Running Productions directs & consults on more than 35 races in CT, including the the Colony Grill Hot Oil & Bigelow Tea Community Challenge in Fairfield.
