Organiser's Description
Glorys Garden Foundation is hosting the Glory 5K Walk/Run to rally Northeast Louisiana around families fighting through the NICU journey. In 2023 Glory Ann Strickland was born at 24 weeks and spent 308 days in the St. Francis and Childrens Hospital NICU. Her parents, family and friends understand no parent should face that lonely road alone.
This event is more than a race; its a public show of love that raises critical support for medical expenses, travel, meals, and at home living expenses for NICU families. Our goal is to reach 1000 registrations so we could help 200 families. When our community shows up together, we dont just raise funds we raise hope, dignity, and relief in the moments families need it most.

OPENS 03 FEB 27Register to be apart of NELA's first 5K dedicated to supporting families who have children in the NICU. A baby in the NICU changes everything. This goal helps cover practical needs so families can stay close food, travel, and necessities without having to choose between being with their child and paying for life outside the hospital. Your registration will also create a personal fundraising page! We hope that you will join us in reaching our goal. -
