Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the Goose Pond Fall Classic 5k/10k on Saturday, September 23, 2023! Set against the stunning backdrop of Goose Pond Colony Resort in Scottsboro, Jackson, this event promises a fantastic day of fun and fitness. Participants can choose between a scenic 5k, featuring a single loop that takes you along the picturesque waterside, or challenge themselves with the new 10k course, which consists of two loops through the beautiful surroundings.
Packet pickup will kick off bright and early from 6:30 am to 7:45 am at the Docks restaurant, where you'll spot the colorful inflatable arch marking the start. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the overall masters male and female participants in each race category. Organiser's Description
Come join us at the beautiful Goose Pond Colony Resort in Scottsboro for a 5k, and new this year a 10k. It will definitely be a lot of fun!!!
Start and Finish along the water and run the along the waterside throughout the entire run.
The 5k Course will be an out and back 1 loop, and the 10k will be 2 loops.
PACKET PICKUP:
6:30am - 7:45am Saturday morning at Goose Pond by the Docks restaurant. Just look for the Inflatable Arch.
AWARDS:
Awards will be given to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female, Overall Masters Male and Female in each Race.
