Get ready for an exciting and meaningful experience at the "Got Your Six" 5K Ruck-Run-Walk on Saturday, September 13th, 2025, held at the scenic Tri Township Park in Troy, Madison. This unique event is not only an opportunity to challenge yourself with a 5K, but it's also a chance to support a great cause—benefiting Got Your Six Support Dogs, which trains and provides service dogs to veterans and first responders suffering from PTSD.
Participants are encouraged to embrace the military-style training by "rucking," which involves walking with a weighted pack or rucksack. Plus, you can bring your furry friend along to complete the 5K with you! Make sure to register by August 9th, 2025, to secure your official event t-shirt and swag bag. Early packet pickup will be available on September 12th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and race day pickup will take place from 7:00 AM to 8:45 AM. Join us on September 13th, 2025 for a 5K Ruck-Run-Walk benefiting Got Your Six Support Dogs from Maryville IL. Got Your Six trains and provides service dogs to veterans and first responders suffering from PTSD who have risked their lives serving this country. This event will take place inside the Tri Township Park located in Troy IL. We encourage participants to "Ruck" the event to support the military style training in which you walk with weight inside of a pack or rucksack. We also encourage you to bring your dog for the event and have them complete the 5K with you!
