2410 N Carrier Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX 75050
The GRAND PRAIRIE CINCO DE MAYO 5K gives runners the last chance to get moving through scenic Mike Lewis Park before the Texas summer heat! A distance for everyone! New runners and families are welcome to join the 5K. Non runners are encouraged to try a community walk or run and you just might get hooked.
VOLUNTEER WITH US
-Packet pickup:
-Aid station (Super High Priority): Provide water to participants as they pass by. Keep course clean for runners by picking up discarded cups, bottles and trash and placing it in the provided trash cans.
-Course Monitor ( Super High Priority): Help maintain a safe course by redirecting traffic away from participants and guiding participants in the right direction.
Feel free to bring pom pom, horns, music, instruments, signs etc. to encourage and cheer on runners. Bonus for creative
costumes!

CANCELATION POLICY ALL LACE UP RUNNING EVENTS PROCEED RAIN OR SHINE OR SNOW OR COLD. FOR THAT REASON, WE HAVE A STRICT NO REFUND POLICY.
IN THE EVENT OF EXTREME WEATHER, THE START TIME OF THIS EVENT MAY BE DELAYED BY UP TO AN HALF HOUR. PAST THIS TIME, THE EVEN COURSE MAY BE SHORTENED OR ALTERED TO PROTECT THE PARTICIPANTS.
IF CONDITIONS TURNS INTO LIGHTENING, ICE OR BECOME UNSAFE, THE EVENT MAY BE CANCELLED. EVENT CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS ARE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE RACE DIRECTOR.
WE ALWAYS STRIVE TO PRODUCE A FULL AND SAFE SPORTING EVENT, BUT SOMETIMES THE WEATHER CONDITIONS CAN AFFECT THOSE PLANS.
