Get ready to kick off your Thanksgiving celebrations with the Granite Bay Turkey Trot, happening on Thursday, November 26th, 2026, in the beautiful Granite Bay, Placer. This family-friendly event offers two exciting race distances: a fun 3K (1.86 miles) and a challenging 6K. Both races start on Wellington Way, just outside Granite Bay High School, and take participants on a scenic route along East Roseville Parkway, Hillsborough Drive, and Eureka Road, before finishing back at the school.
The 3K race will take place at 8:00 AM, while the 6K race starts at 7:30 AM and includes two loops of the 3K course, adding an extra twist as runners reverse course for the second lap! With early bird registration available until September 30th for just $35, this event is not only a great way to get some exercise before the holiday feast but also a perfect opportunity for families and friends to come together in a fun and festive atmosphere. Course will be lightly traffic controlled by CHP and/or PCSO.
