*** Athletes must maintain a 14-minute mile. Athletes must pass mile 5.5 (Main Street & South Clinton Ave before 8:45am. This is 1:15 mins after the race starts. Athletes who reach this point after 8:45am will be directed to the finish line and will only complete the 10k course *** Due to our permit and police support on the course, this strict time cut off must be enforced, no exceptions. The 13.1 mile race begins and ends at the Town of Islip Bay Shore Marina and runs through the streets of Bay Shore and Brightwaters.
