Get ready for a spooktacular adventure at the GTT Pedal & Treat on Saturday, October 10th, 2026! This exciting Halloween-themed benefit ride takes place in Ebensburg, Cambria, and invites cycling enthusiasts of all levels to join in the fun on the scenic Ghost Town Trail. Riders will embark on a 35-mile loop starting at the YPCC Ebensburg Trailhead at 11:00 AM, with costumes and festive colors highly encouraged to enhance the Halloween spirit!
While this is a self-supported ride and not a race, participants should be prepared to maintain a pace of at least 8 mph to complete the loop within 5 hours. Don't worry if you're new to cycling—it's all about enjoying the journey and the company! After the ride, everyone can relax and refuel at Coal Country Brewing, one of the area's favorite local spots. Remember, while the ride is free, donations to the CCCRA Friends of the Trails program are greatly appreciated to help keep the Ghost Town Trail beautiful and accessible. Grab your bike, don your best costume, and join us for a day filled with fun, camaraderie, and a touch of Halloween magic!

Join us for a fun Halloween-themed benefit ride along the Ghost Town Trail loop on October 10th, 2026!
While the ride is free, please register in advance it helps us plan and ensures youll be first to hear about next years event!
This is a self-supported, ride-at-your-own-pace event starting at 11:00 AM at the YPCC Ebensburg Trailhead. Well ride the full 35-mile loop and finish back where we started. (The loop itself is 32-miles, but the extra ride to-and-from Ebensburg makes it 35-miles total!)
Halloween themed COLORS, MAKEUP, and COSTUMES are encouraged just make sure your costume doesnt interfere with bike safety. Helmets are encouraged, and a fun attitude is a must!
After the ride, well all meet up for post-ride food and drinks at one of our favorite local spots, Coal Country Brewing [https://www.coalcountrybrewing.net/]!
This ride is free, but we kindly ask that riders make a donation to the CCCRA Friends of the Trails program helping keep the Ghost Town Trail clean, beautiful, and accessible for everyone.

The Ghost Town Trail loop itself is 32 miles. Since we are beginning at the Ebensburg trailhead, we need to ride 1.5 miles to get to a starting point for the loop, making this a 35-mile total ride.
