Join us on Saturday, August 1, 2026, for the uplifting Guest House Run Over Addiction 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run, held on the beautiful grounds of the historic William E. Scripps Mansion in Lake Orion, Michigan. This community event celebrates hope and recovery while supporting the vital mission of Guest House. The day kicks off with the 1-Mile Fun Run at 8:30 A.M., perfect for families and kids, followed by the competitive 5K race at 9:00 A.M.
Participants can also take part virtually, making it easy for friends and supporters from all over to join in on the fun. Every runner, whether participating in person or online, will receive a commemorative event shirt and a participation medal. Plus, there will be exciting prizes for the top male and female finishers in various age categories. Come out and make a difference while enjoying a day filled with fitness and community spirit!

Lace up and join us for the Guest House Run Over Addiction 5K & 1-Mile Fun Runa community event celebrating hope, recovery, and the life-saving mission of Guest House.
The 1-MILE FUN RUN, great for kids and families, begins at 8:30 A.M., followed by the 5K RACE AT 9:00 A.M. on the scenic campus of Guest House, home to the historic William E. Scripps Mansion in Lake Orion, Michigan.
Proceeds from this event directly support Guest Houses mission to provide the information, education, treatment and care needed to assure that Catholic clergy, men and women religious, and seminarians suffering from alcoholism, addictions, and other behavioral health conditions have the best opportunity for quality recovery and overall health and wellness.
For the first time, we are proud to offer a VIRTUAL 5K OPTION, allowing supporters near and far to participate. All runnersboth in person and virtualwill receive a commemorative event shirt and participation medal. Prizes will be awarded to the top in-person male/female age category finishers.
