Get ready for an exciting weekend of running at the Hachie 50 Marathon, Ultra, and Relay on March 6-7, 2026, in the scenic city of Waxahachie, Texas! This vibrant event, hosted at the picturesque Getzendaner Park, features an incredible array of race options that cater to all levels of runners. Participants can choose from a 50 Mile Ultra-marathon, a 26.2 Marathon (which is a Boston Qualifier certified course), a 20 Mile Ruck, and a fun-filled 50 Mile Team Relay. Young athletes can also join the fun with a Kids 1 Mile Fun Run and a 3K Fun Run on Friday.
Runners will enjoy a fast and flat course that is 90% on concrete sidewalks and 10% on dirt and gravel, making it perfect for setting personal bests. Every participant will receive a custom t-shirt, unique custom medals, and access to free online race photos. Plus, with ample food and drinks provided during and after the event, there’s plenty of fun to be had! Awards will be given to the top finishers in each category, including individual awards for the top six men and women in every event. Join

Organiser's Description
On March 7, 2026, The Waxahachie Running Club and the Midlothian Running Club join forces with the Waxahachie Lions Club to sponsor the Hachie 50. The event will benefit the Waxahachie Lion's Club, which supports local children and schools in Ellis County. Title Sponsors are: Edward Jones of Waxahachie -- Paul Box, Paul Colwell, Nick Box and Wess Winn.
The race is held in Waxahachie's Getzendaner city park that is mostly closed to traffic. Course is 90% on concrete sidewalks, 10% dirt/gravel. This is a beautiful, FAST, FLAT & Tree-lined out-n-back course!
We will have custom t-shirts for participants; unique custom medals; free online race photos; and lots of food and drinks during and after the event. Individual awards will be given to the Top 6 Men and Women in each event (no separate masters category). Relay event awards go top Top Male team, Top Female team & Top Coed Team
We will have 4 adult race options on Saturday and 2 kid events on Friday:

The Waxahachie Running Club is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that promotes running and walking in Ellis County, which is south of Dallas, TX. We are a friendly, family-oriented group that welcomes all levels; from beginners in our 5k training program up to competitive marathoners, ultra-marathoners, trail-runners and triathletes. Our goal is to bring runners and walkers together encouraging safe, friendly fun-runs. Started in June of 2011 we have grown to over 2400 members.
