Calling all 5K runners for the_ 4th Annual Halloween Hustle 5K _TO BENEFIT THE CALHOUN HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL PROGRAM through the Calhoun Homerun Booster Club. This race has quickly become a fun, fast, family-oriented fall classic!! The course is relatively flat, quite fast and will be professionally-timed by Wire2Wire Running, LLC.



REGISTRATION INFO:



Pre-Race, on-line Registration will be open until 11:00pm, Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024. (Pre-register to guarantee your T-shirt size!)

Pre-race Race Registration Fees:


$30 for the 5K

$20 for the 'Tot Trot' (with t-Shirt)

$10 for the 'Tot Trot' (without a t-Shirt)

Race Day Rates: (_Note_: We cannot guarantee your T-Shirt Size if you register on Race Day!)

$40 for the 5K

$30 for the 'Tot Trot' (with t-Shirt)

$20 for the 'Tot Trot' (without a t-Shirt)





5K COURSE:



Come set your personal record (P.R.) on our course that has recently been USATF-CERTIFIED and will be a _Peachtree RR Qualifier_!

The 5K race will start on Yellow Jacket Dr. where participants will then go into the Gordon Co. Recreation Dept. before returning to the Calhoun Baseball field. Participants are sure to enjoy this scenic, mostly-flat route! Its a festive time of year to enjoy a 5K race against the clock or just a leisurely family stroll. This year, we are adding a _Tot Trot _(repeat after me: '_ADORABLE_!'), so bring your little one to enjoy a race that is just their size.



Prizes will be given for costumes, so dress up in your favorite get-up for a chance to win a Costume Prize!!!

AWARDS:

1st, 2nd, & 3rd OVERALL (Male & Female)

Medals will also be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place (Male & Female) in the following Age Groups:


10&Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70&Over



(Please note: There will be no _double dipping_ in road-racing awards! So the overall winners will not be eligible for age group awards.)



DOGS IN THE 5K:

Dogs are allowed to be in the 5K if on a leash and kept 3-5 ft. away from runners when passing, but we ask you to start the race in the back of the pack, after all the runners in the 5K have left the starting area. And we certainly expect owners to be mindful of their dogs mingling with runners/walkers, as well as clean up after their furry four-legged friends.



RACE RESULTS:

The professional timing company, Wire2Wire Running, LLC, will have race results posted here at the conclusion of the race.
