Join the excitement at the Happy Soles 5k Run/Walk/Bike & Virtual Challenge on Sunday, June 1, 2025, in the beautiful Taylor Heritage Park Sheridan Pavilion, Taylor, Wayne! This uplifting event invites participants of all ages and abilities to run, walk, or bike through the scenic routes of Heritage Park while supporting a great cause. Your participation will directly contribute to the Fish and Loaves Community Food Pantry, helping provide over 2.2 million pounds of food to those in need.
Registration is just $35 per person, and participants are encouraged to fundraise to meet their mileage goals, with 100% of proceeds going directly to food resources for local households. The first 300 registrants will receive a commemorative Happy Soles Medal, and all participants who register by May 11th will be guaranteed a T-shirt. Whether you join us in person or opt for the virtual challenge, your support is crucial in making a difference in the community. Lace up your sneakers, grab your bike, and let’s make an impact together!

Organiser's Description
Happy Soles participants helped Fish and Loaves Community Food Pantry purchase enough food to distribute over 2.2 million pounds of food to 21,634 households. For all of those that laced up their sneakers or rode their bikes in 2022, we cant thank you enough for your support of the Fish and Loaves mission. But we need your help again this year!
The Challenges
1. Happy Soles will be held at Taylor Heritage Park Sheridan Pavilion. The route will take the racers through the beautiful Heritage Park. Our Racers can run, walk or bike the route. If you are uncomfortable joining us for the event, please feel free to once again participate virtually. We appreciate your support.
2. We need a Tagline for Happy Soles 2025. Please submit your tagline (Up to 5 words) to [email protected] by May 1, 2025. Tagline winner will be awarded an entry to the 2025 Happy Soles 5k.
3. The final piece of the challenge comes in the form of fundraising! Registration for Happy Soles is $35 per person but this year, due to increased demand for food resources, were encouraging you to fundraise as you strive to hit your mileage goal. Within your dashboard, you can create a fundraising page to track your efforts and share them with friends and family using your own social and email channels. Help motivate them to join you in the miles or in fundraising for your goal!
