The Healing Warriors 3rd Annual 5k Fun Run/Walk is a fun, family & pet friendly event held at the beautiful Spring Canyon Park, Creekside Shelter.
This professionally timed event is perfect for serious runners who may be looking to improve a time, or those that are seeking a fun run, a jog or walking to support our Veteran families.
CHECK-IN AND PACKET PICK-UP BEGINS AT 9:00 A.M. THE RACE BEGINS AT 10:00 A.M.
Each registered participant will receive a branded race shirt*, and goody bag. Activities at the Park begin at 8:30 a.m., booths, snacks, food, music and much more!
The Healing Warriors Program envisions a suicide free world where Veterans and their families thrive. We provide no-cost, non-narcotic treatment through a whole-person, holistic approach utilizing acupuncture, Healing Touch therapy, cranial sacral therapy, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. In addition to our holistic modalities, our clients receive additional support through case management including goal setting, program consultations, and referrals to community resources.
CLINIC LOCATIONS
* Headquarters and 5 day a week clinic is located in Ft. Collins
* Satellite Clinics providing weekly care in Aurora and Colorado Springs.
* Monthly walk-in clinic at VFW Post 1 in Dever, Colorado
