Course Details

Trail Details:
Length: The main trail around the lake measures 0.75 miles for one complete loop. To complete a 5K (approximately 3.1 miles), participants will need to run about 4 full loops plus an additional short distance to cover the full distance.

Terrain: The trail is paved, ensuring a smooth and stable surface suitable for both runners and walkers. The trail is mostly flat, making it beginner-friendly and accommodating for runners/ walkers of all fitness levels.

Environment: The trail loops around a scenic lake, with views of the water and nearby greenery. Participants will enjoy a refreshing and tranquil setting during the run.

Before the Event:
Check-in for the 5K begins at 8:30 AM, ensuring everyone is ready to hit the trail. The race officially starts at 9:30 AM, so arrive early to warm up and get energized!

On Race Day:
A scenic and fun 5K run/walk, perfect for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Special recognition for the first 10 runners to cross the finish line, who will receive medals!

The festival kicks off at 10:00 AM, offering engaging activities, delicious food, and family-friendly entertainment. Admission to the festival is just $10 per attendee, providing access to all the exciting activities.

From the West (Katy or Memorial Area):
Take I-10 East toward Houston.
Merge onto Sam Houston Tollway (Beltway 8) South.
