Join us for the third annual Heath Golf & Yacht Club Turkey Dash on Thanksgiving morning, November 27th, 2025, in Rockwall! This vibrant fun run is not just about fitness; it's a chance to give back to the community, as all race proceeds will support Helping Hands, an organization dedicated to assisting families in need.
The event kicks off with a Kid's 1K at 8:00 AM, followed by the exciting 5K race at 8:15 AM. The 5K features a scenic loop that takes runners east on Governor's Drive, north on Trophy, and back to the clubhouse, while the Kid's 1K will be an enjoyable out-and-back course from the Clubhouse. This year, the 5K will be chip-timed, ensuring accurate results, and participants will compete for overall and age group awards, with unique golf ball prizes for the top finishers. Every child in the 1K will receive a medal, and all registrants will get a commemorative T-shirt. Don’t miss the packet pickup on November 26th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and on race day morning from 7:00 to 7:50 AM

Heath Golf & Yacht Club is putting on our third annual fun run on Thanksgiving morning. Last year we were able to donate $5000.00 to Helping Hands. It will feature a Kid's 1K at 8:00 AM and a 5K at 8:15. The Kids 1K will be out and back from the Clubhouse, the 5K will circle a loop going east on Governor's Drive, north on Trophy and west back to Clubhouse on Governor's Drive.
We have exciting news this year! The 5K race will be chipped timed!
Each Kid will receive a medal after finishing the 1K. There will be overall female and male awards in the 5K, and age group awards: 1-19, 20-29, 30-39,40-49, 50-59, and 60-99, first place will receive gold, second silver and third bronze colored golf balls. Results will be posted at the race site and on RunSignUp, the Kid's 1K will not be timed but the top 3 boys and girls will be acknowledged.
Each registrant will receive a fun T-shirt to commemorate their efforts and helping give back to others on Thanksgiving morning.
