Join us for the fourth annual Heath Golf & Yacht Club Turkey Dash on Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Rockwall! This exciting Thanksgiving morning event promises a fun-filled day of fitness and community spirit while supporting a great cause. Participants can choose between a Kid's 1K at 8:00 AM and a chip-timed 5K at 8:30 AM. The 1K will take place as an out-and-back course from the Clubhouse, while the 5K will loop through the scenic streets of Rockwall, making for an invigorating experience for runners of all ages.
Last year, the event raised an impressive $18,000 for Helping Hands, an organization dedicated to assisting families in need. This year, all race proceeds will again support this worthy cause. Every child completing the 1K will receive a medal, and awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in the 5K, along with age group recognitions. Plus, all registrants will receive a fun T-shirt to commemorate their participation. Don’t miss the packet pickup on November 25 from 4:00-7:00 PM or on race day from 7:00-7:50

Organiser's Description
Heath Golf & Yacht Club is putting on our fourth annual fun run on Thanksgiving morning. Last year we were able to donate $18000.00 to Helping Hands. It will feature a Kid's 1K at 8:00 AM and a 5K at 8:30. The Kids 1K will be out and back from the Clubhouse, the 5K will circle a loop going east on Governor's Drive, north on Trophy and west back to Clubhouse on Governor's Drive. The 5K race will be a chipped timed race.
Each Kid will receive a medal after finishing the 1K. There will be overall female and male awards in the 5K, and age group awards: 1-19, 20-29, 30-39,40-49, 50-59, and 60-99. Results will be posted at the race site and on RunSignUp, the Kid's 1K will not be timed but the top 3 boys and girls will be acknowledged.
