The race will begin at 8:30 a.m. in front of City Hall and will follow a brand new route along 6th Avenue and Main Street, leading into the scenic Ecusta Trail before looping back to finish at City Hall. Runners and walkers have until 10:30 a.m. to complete the course, so there’s plenty of time to enjoy your Thanksgiving feast afterward! With opportunities to win fun prizes for categories like Fastest Male and Female, Best Costume, and even Best Pet Costume, the Turkey Trot promises a memorable experience for everyone involved. JOIN US FOR THE 14TH ANNUAL TURKEY TROT 5K!
Kick off your Thanksgiving with a fun-filled dash through Hendersonville at the 14th annual Turkey Trot to benefit Hope Coalition! Whether you are a seasoned runner, casual stroller, or just in it for the costumes, this event is open to all-ages!
The unsanctioned race kicks off at 8:30 a.m. in front of City Hall. This brand new route will start on 6th avenue in front of City Hall continuing down Main Street to the Ecusta Trail. The Ecusta Trail route will loop back onto 5th avenue to complete the race at City Hall. Runners and walkers should plan to be off the course by 10:30am, leaving plenty of time to feast! The race will go on rain, shine, or snow, so dress for the weather and make it memorable!
A long-sleeve Turkey Trot tee is FREE with registration but not guaranteed after November 10th at midnight. A limited number of tees will be available for purchase the morning of the run @ $25 each. Please note children sizes are only available in short sleeves.
There will be Fun Prizes for Fastest Male, Fastest Female, Fastest Youth Male & Female (12 and under), Best Costume, Best Group Costume, Best Individual Costume, Farthest Traveled, and Best Pet Costume!
