5k Run/Walk. All proceeds go towards building an accessible home for Chris Short of Jupiter, Florida, a severely injured Army veteran who fought and suffered numerous severe injuries in Afghanistan, including the loss of a leg. Monies collected go directly to Homes for Our Troops (www.hfotusa.org [https://www.hfot.org]), a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to building and donating specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post 9/11 veterans.
