The Hickory Foundation YMCA [https://www.ymcacv.org/locations/hickory-foundation-ymca] is excited to announce that we will celebrate the 24th Annual Hickory Turkey Trot 5K & 10K on Saturday - November 23rd, 2024. _Proceeds from this race help the Y carry out its Mission to provide programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body to make Hickory a stronger community. Your race entry fee and generous Donations will help to continue this support in our community.

Friday, November 22nd, 12:00pm - 1:30pm, 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Race Day Registration/Packet Pickup: 7:00am - 9:00am

Youth Fun Run Start Time: 8:30am
10K Start Time: 9:00am
5K Start Time: 9:03am
Please note 1 hour 30 minute cutoff time for all race participants to complete the race
Awards Ceremony: 11:00am* <= To be held in the C.O. Miller Teen Center on the Hickory Foundation YMCA grounds

YOUTH FUN RUN

Kids, ages 12 & Under The course will take place in the field behind the Hickory Foundation YMCA. The Kids Fun Run begins at 8:30. Parents are welcome to join! Bring on the little Turkeys."

5K & 10K ENTRY FEE:
July 8 - September 1 => $30/$35
September 2 - November 12 => $35/$40
November 13 - Race Day => $45/$50

Youth Fun Run Entry Fee:
August 1 - Race Day => $15

TOP MALE & FEMALE OF 5K & 10K WINNERS
-One month YMCA membership for free!
-A turkey! (No really - the Overall Winners get a frozen turkey!)
-A trophy!
-Overall winners are not eligible for Age Group awards

The TOP THREE MALE & FEMALE finishers in the following AGE GROUPS will receive a Custom Pint Glass!
20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, *70 +
*Special presentation for the oldest male and female participants in both the 5K and 10K

The TOP THREE MALE & FEMALE finishers in the following AGE GROUPS will receive a medal!
9 & UNDER, 10-14, 15-19

PHANTOM 5K & 10K

Phantom 5K & 10K
This Do It Yourself event will allow participants to run or walk at any time and any location that is convenient and safe for you and your families. Run a local 5K or 10K route (like the Turkey Trot courses), around the block, on trails,12.5 laps around the track, or even run on a treadmill. You don't even have to live in North Carolina - so please invite friends and family in other states or countries to join the fun. Must register by November 8th to receive a race t-shirt.
