With a picturesque course that winds through the scenic Boone Greenway Trail and Kennedy Trails, runners and walkers alike will enjoy a beautiful experience in nature.
This year, all finishers of the 5K and 10K timed races will receive a custom finisher medal, while the top three men and women in each category will be rewarded with fantastic prizes, including delicious pumpkin pies from Stick Boy Bread Co.! Plus, every entrant will get a stylish High Country Turkey Trot t-shirt—just make sure to register by October 31st to secure yours! Bring your family and friends, and don’t forget to contribute to the community by bringing non-perishable food items. WE ARE BACK ON THE BOONE GREENWAY TRAIL FOR THE 15TH ANNUAL HIGH COUNTRY TURKEY TROT!
CHOOSE FROM A 5K OR 10K TIMED TRAIL RACE OR AN UNTIMED 5K FUN RUN/WALK. THE 5K AND 10K TRAIL RACES WILL TAKE YOU ON A SCENIC TRIP THROUGH THE WOODS VIA THE GREENWAY AND KENNEDY TRAILS. THE FUN RUN/WALK 5K WILL UTILIZE ALL PAVED TRAILS THROUGHOUT THE PARK.
THE HIGH COUNTRY TURKEY TROT OFFERS PRIZES FOR TOP 3 MEN'S & WOMEN'S FINISHERS IN THE 5K & 10K TIMED RUNS, FINISHER MEDALS FOR ALL RUNNERS IN THE 5K AND 10K TIMED RUNS, AND CUSTOM HIGH COUNTRY TURKEY TROT T-SHIRTS FOR ALL ENTRANTS*. WELL ALSO HAVE A LIVE DJ ON SITE!
