This exciting in-person run is organized in memory of Captain Jeff Hill, an Air Force pilot whose legacy lives on through the Jeff Hill Legacy Fund, which supports educational scholarships for Air Force ROTC cadets.
Participants can choose to run or walk a beautiful 1-mile trail through Woodland Trails, with the option to complete the course twice for an extra challenge. Expect a lively atmosphere filled with music, a food truck, and a raffle featuring fun prizes, all wrapped in a patriotic theme. With registration starting at just $20 (and only $10 for kids 10 and younger), it's an affordable way to support a great cause. Organiser's Description
Jeff Hill Legacy Fund (JHLF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in memory of Captain Jeff Hill, an Air Force pilot who died in a C-17 plane crash in Alaska on July 28, 2010, and provides educational scholarships to Air Force ROTC cadets.
Tyler Hill, Jeff's youngest son, is organizing this fun IN-PERSON run through Woodland Trails in Elk River, MN on Sunday, May 18, 2025. It is a 1-mile trail that participants can choose to run/walk twice, or just once if you prefer. There will be a food truck, a raffle with various fun items, music, and a fun, inviting atmosphere with a patriotic theme. All proceeds go to the JHLF with 100% going directly to Air Force ROTC Cadet Scholarships.
