Join us for the 10th annual Hilton Head Freedom 5K on Memorial Day, May 26th, 2025, at the picturesque Port Royal Plantation on Hilton Head Island, Beaufort. Whether you choose to run or walk, you’ll be part of a spirited celebration that encourages participants to don their most patriotic Red, White & Blue attire. With a scenic 5K course that showcases the beauty of Hilton Head, this is the perfect opportunity to embrace the spirit of freedom and community.
The day kicks off with packet pick-up from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM, followed by a pre-race ceremony at 7:45 AM and the race start at 8:00 AM. Participants can look forward to exciting awards, including custom awards for overall winners and special recognition for the most patriotic outfits. Plus, a portion of the proceeds will support Semper Fi & America's Fund, providing essential aid to our military heroes. Palmetto Running Company proudly presents the 10th annual Hilton Head Freedom 5K run & walk, a patriotic celebration taking place on Memorial Day, May 26th, 2025, at the stunning Port Royal Plantation on Hilton Head Island. The Freedom 5K is a remarkable opportunity to pay tribute to those who have bravely served in the armed forces, all within the context of a fun and family-friendly event. Sorry NO Dogs are permitted.

Packet Pick up and late registration will be held on Sunday May 25th 2-5PM at Palmetto Running Company, Shelter Cover Towne Center, Hilton Head. *First 350 runners will receive a Freedom Run 5K race shirt. We highly recommend coming to packet pick up on Sunday, May 25th 2-5PM. Shirt sizes are not guaranteed. There will be NO race day registration.

OPENS SOONAwards will be provided in the following divisions: First place overall Male & Female finishers. 1st place Male & Female: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 & 80up Race Details: This race will be chip timed to ensure accuracy (each runner will have a chip attached to the back of their bib number). The 5000 km/3.1 mile course will feature mile markers with volunteers stationed throughout to ensure proper course navigation. A water station will be provided to participants at the halfway point on the course. Refreshments healthy snacks will be provided to refuel after the race.
